This first major photography book describes activities of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC). We took pictures of over 50 companies of the holding in 15 regions of Russia (starting from Leningrad region and ending with Primorsky region) and also in the Czech Republic and Serbia. The pictures were taken at large coal
open pits, mines, metallurgical giants and many other objects. We had to take pictures underground at the depth of over 1 kilometer (3280 feet) and in the air when shooting L-410 planes. Apart from the photography book, the customer received a large relevant photo bank of all companies of the holding and also a set of postcards.

"Svyatogor" is an enterprise of the full technological cycle of blister copper production founded in 1992 on the basis of Krasnouralsk copper-smelting plant. It is listed among the first companies that were included in UMMC in the first place. One of the largest representatives of the metallurgical complex of the Sverdlovsk region.
"Kuzbassrazrezugol" is the largest Russian company specialized in open coal mining. Taldinsky coal pit is on the photo.
Kuzbass is one of the oldest coal-bearing areas of the planet which development started in the second half of the 19th century. Today Kuzbass is one of the most important industrial regions of the Russian Federation. Specifically for UMMC project we photographed all coal cuts of the holding from high altitude.
